To carry out trade and investment promotion activities between Zhejiang and foreign countries (regions) as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

To maintain relations and improve cooperation with relevant international organizations, trade and investment promotion agencies from foreign countries (regions) as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and their China-based representative offices. Responsible for the working mechanism with counterparts and relevant activities; to establish a network overseas.

To invite foreign business delegations to Zhejiang and arrange business activities for the delegation; to organize Zhejiang business delegations overseas and carry out business activities abroad.

To organized the trade and economic events assigned by CPC Zhejiang Committee, Zhejiang provincial government and CCPIT; to hold exhibitions (expos) at home and abroad to promote economic and trade cooperation.

To introduce investment policies and business environment of Zhejiang, and organized meetings and conferences at home and abroad to promote two-way investment cooperation.

To collect, sort, deliver and publicize business information; to file the advice and requests from the companies to the relevant authorities; to provide training and consulting services to the companies regarding trade and investment.

To provide commercial counseling and including mediation, arbitration, IPR protection; to provide lobby services; to help the companies tackle the international trade frictions.

To coordinate its branches regarding the issuing of certificates of origin, ATA carnet and other business documents based on relevant rules and trade agreements.

To give instructions to its branches in the province; to be in charge of the setup and management of branches in the province excluding Hangzhou and Ningbo.

Responsible for the administration of CCOIC Zhejiang.

To complete the tasks assigned by CPC Zhejiang committee, Zhejiang provincial government and CCPIT.
