The 2026 Annual Conference of Licensing Executives Society China (LES China) ran in Hangzhou on October 13–14 under the theme Gather Wisdom in Zhejiang, Pioneer the Future through Innovation. Senior officials including Li Xingqian (Vice President of CCPIT), Chen Jianzhong (President of CCPIT Zhejiang ), Jiang Wei (Deputy Director-General of CNIPA’s IP Utilization and Promotion Department) and Wang Ningling (President of LESI) attended.

Li Xingqian remarked that China’s robust IP development bolsters innovation-driven growth and high-standard opening-up. CCPIT is ready to collaborate with global IP practitioners to uphold rules, facilitate innovation flows and advance the commercialization of R&D results.

On October 15, Wang Ningling’s delegation visited CCPIT Zhejiang for talks on cross-border IP licensing and technology transfer. Chen Jianzhong proposed six cooperation priorities: joint matchmaking sessions, practical training, coordinated dispute resolution, joint research, talent development and industrial brand promotion. Wang Ningling shared LESI’s global progress and highlighted China’s successful bid to host the 2028 LESI International Conference as a catalyst for deeper partnership.

On the sidelines of the conference, Chen Jianzhong accompanied Li Xingqian to inspect Hangzhou Xiwang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and China Unicom Hangzhou Branch.
