On June 10th, the China(Zhejiang) - Australia and Trade and Investment Conference was held in Hangzhou. The event, jointly hosted by CCPIT Zhejiang and Australian Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Federation, attracted more than 100 entrepreneurs from both China and Australia. It was a highlight of the Australian business delegation’s itinerary in Zhejiang. The delegation, composed of over 30 Australian companies comes to Zhejiang expressly to explore more business opportunities and look for partners here. Chen Jianzhong, Chairman of CCPIT Zhejiang and CCOIC Zhejiang noted in his remarks that Zhejiang has a solid foundation for industrial development and a vibrant business environment for market entities to grow and thrive, while Australia is abundant in natural resources and its investment policies are open and inclusive. The two sides are highly complementary to each other in economic structures. It is expected that this meeting will serve as a platform for entrepreneurs to deepen practical exchanges in trade, investment and other fields. During the conference, CCPIT Zhejiang and Oceania Business Association Incorporated signed an MOU to deepen cooperation. At B2B talks session, the bilateral enterprises showed great enthusiasm for cooperation, they engaged in lively conversations and and some had expressed intent to cooperate in areas such as medical and healthcare, new energy, construction and engineering, cross-border e-commerce, etc. CCPIT Zhejiang will also arrange visits to Alibaba group, Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City, Dahua Technology, Zhejiang Sunseeker Industrial Co., Ltd, Jinyi Sector of the China(Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Yiwu International Trade Market for the Australian delegation so that the latter could gain a comprehensive understanding of the innovation ecology and business environment of the province and thus promote more cooperation between the two sides. |
