●Petrochemical industry chain

We mainly introduce fine chemicals, polyether polyols, special polyesters and fibers, degradable plastics, special rubber and elastomers, new polyurethane materials, petroleum resins and other projects.

●Energy Consumption Settlement Center

we focus on introducing such projects as oil and gas trade and consumption settlement and bunker oil filling.

●Modern marine fishery industry chain

We mainly introduce marine fishing, mariculture, processing, trade and other projects in the fishery industry chain.

●Modern marine tourism industry chain

3. Industrial Parks in Zhoushan 

＞Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base 

Overview 

The base is located in the northwest of Zhoushan Archipelago. The planned total area is 41 square kilometers, all in China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The 40 million tons/year integrated refining & chemical project of Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. has settled down. The first phase of this project was put into operation in 2019.

Industries to Be Introduced 

The base intends to introduce 10-million-ton integrated refining and chemical projects, midstream and downstream petrochemical projects, fine chemicals and new materials projects, to promote the extension of the petrochemical industry chain and accelerate the formation of a petrochemical industry cluster.

＞Zhoushan High Tech Industrial Zone

Overview 

Zhoushan High Tech Industrial Zone is located in the heart of the northern industrial area on Zhoushan Island. The planned total land area is 27 square kilometers; the sea area is 25 square kilometers; the total length of its coastline is about 17 kilometers; the average water depth 2-300 meters offshore is more than 14 meters. With obvious location advantages, complete associated industries, perfect infrastructure, rich land reserves, and efficient examination and approval services, it is one of the most influential, competitive and promising entrepreneurial platforms in Zhejiang and even the Yangtze River Delta, and the most influential economic development zone and policy highland in Zhoushan.

New materials, 5G, third-generation semiconductors, aerospace equipment manufacturing, high-end ship fittings, marine engineering equipment, marine biopharmaceuticals, new energy and emergency equipment, etc.

＞Zhoushan Port Free Trade Zone

Overview 

Founded with the State Council’s approval on Sept. 29, 2012, it’s an important part of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The planned total area is 5.85 square kilometers. It consists of three divisions, namely Zhoushan Island Division, Qushan Division and Airport Division. In 2020, the total value of inbound and outbound cargos was US $3.494 billion, up 16.35% year on year; the value of trade was ￥626.378 billion, up 70.49% year on year; the total number of registered businesses exceeded 17,000, with a total registered capital of over ￥290 billion.

Bonded bunker oil supply, bulk commodities and oil and gas trade, bonded processing, import of high-end consumer goods, financial leasing, etc.

＞Zhoushan Aviation Industrial Park

Overview 

It’s a well-coordinated park with two parts. The Aircraft Manufacturing Park is in Zhujiajian, with a planned area of 7.88 square kilometers. The Parts Manufacturing Park is in the North Area of Zhoushan Island, with a planned area of 4 square kilometers. The Boeing 737MAX Delivery and Completion Center has settled down. 

Industries to Be Introduced 

Aircraft manufacturing, assembly-line production of large parts for airframes, system integration of avionics and power systems, cabin interior, undercarriages and integrated instrument panels, manufacturing of aircraft seats, airframe structural members, standard components and other aircraft parts, manufacturing of aircraft accessories such as frames, molds and aviation simulators, etc. 

＞Ocean Science City of Zhoushan, China

Overview 

The core area covers 12.3 square kilometers of land. It radiates from “the East Part of Ningbo and the Innovation Park” to the entire Zhoushan Archipelago New Area. 0.6 square kilometers of the Innovation Park has been included into China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone South Area. Zone A of the Innovation Park has been built up and put into use, with a total floor space of 130,000 square meters. The development land of Zone B is about 508 mu.

Marine engineering services, marine communications, marine big data, new materials, biopharmaceuticals and other emerging marine industries.  

＞Thousand Island CBD

Overview 

Located on Xiaogan Island, the total planned land area is 5.38 square kilometers; the total development volume is about 4.3 million square meters; the planned population size is about 52,000. More than 370 enterprises have been introduced, such as Zhejiang Petroleum, CCCC Dredging, Gaohu China and Shanghai Golden Harvest. FTA Financial Center, International Shipping Center, Sinopec Logistics and other headquarters projects have settled down.

Industries to Be Introduced 

Six core industries: maritime services, headquarters economy, finance, energy trade, conference and exhibition, trade and tourism, as well as schools, hospitals, hotels, commerce and other urban amenities. 

＞Dinghai Industrial Park

Overview 

Located in the northwest coastal area of Zhoushan Island, it is a provincial industrial park and provincial high-tech marine equipment park. The planned total area is 22.96 square kilometers. About 16 kilometers of coastline can be developed. The maximum navigation capacity is 300,000 tons. The Park is divided into six industrial blocks: shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment block, port logistics and warehouse block, high-end equipment industrial block, traditional industry transformation and upgrading block, green petrochemical development block, industry-city integration functional block. At present, many key enterprises have settled down, such as CIMC, Changhong International, CNOOC, Zhejiang Communications Construction Group and so on. The remaining land available for investment is about 7,000 mu. 

Industries to Be Introduced 

High-end ship design and manufacturing, marine engineering equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, marine information technology (military-civilian integration), port and shipping logistics, warehousing and business services.

＞Zhoushan International Grain and Oil Industrial Park

Overview 

Located in Laotangshan area in the southwest of Zhoushan Island, the park has a planned area of 4.41 square kilometers, a coastline length of 3.5 kilometers, and a channel depth of more than 18 meters, which allows the free entry and exit of large ships of 200,000 tons. There is a dock and 2 berths for ships of 50,000 tons (80,000 tons maximum); a comprehensive dock for ships of 150,000 tons (175,000 tons maximum) and an unloading platform for ships of 200,000 tons (225,000 tons maximum), a break-bulk cargo shipment dock and 2 berths for ships of 5000 tons. There are a number of large grain and oil companies in the park, including Good Ocean Grains and Oils, China Sea Grains and Oils, Fine Agriculture, involving soybean processing and intensive processing, intensive processing of rice, grain and oil storage, trade and other business, with an annual processing capacity of 2.8 million tons and storage capacity of 850,000 tons.

Industries to Be Introduced 

The park plans to build a Bonded Trade Center for Imported Grains, and introduce a complete industry chain covering large-scale grain and oil processing, trade, storage and transportation, rice, flour and baked food, and industries such as the processing of grain-based liquor, health products, functional food, etc.

＞Zhoushan National Pelagic Fishing Base

Overview

Located in Ganlan Town in the north of Zhoushan Island, the base’s planned area is 6.23 square kilometers. It is the first National Pelagic Fishing Base approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, and a National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base. It’s functionally positioned as “a port, a town, a zone and a center”, namely a Modern Professional Home Port for Pelagic Fishing, a Pelagic Fishing Town, a Cold Chain Logistics Zone for Aquatic Products Processing, a Pelagic Fishing Shipbuilding and Repair Center. The base has 3 docks dedicated to pelagic ships of 10,000 tons, with a cold storage capacity of 350,000 tons, part of which is bonded.  

Industries to Be Introduced 

Intensive processing of aquatic products, marine biopharmaceuticals, cold-chain logistics, characteristic pelagic fishing town tourism (characteristic restaurants, commerce and shopping, leisure and entertainment, cultural and creative businesses, exhibition and experience, theme hotels), and Zhejiang International Agricultural Products Trade Center (financial leasing, insurance, import and export of pelagic aquatic products, e-commerce, exhibition operation).

＞Putuo West Future Smart Town, Putuo Economic Development Zone, Zhejiang

Overview 

Putuo West Future Smart Town consists of four parts: Amoi Future Development Zone, Digital IoT Park, Marine Biotech Park and Marine Headquarters Business District. Covering an area of more than 2,000 mu, it is positioned as Putuo Free Trade Innovation Port, a future town of intelligent technology, a highland for marine entrepreneurship and innovation, a headquarters district integrating social networking, seaborne trade, and maritime services, a cradle of “future industries" where future data, future intelligent manufacturing and other X industries boom.

＞Marine Eco-Innovation Valley, Putuo Economic Development Zone, Zhejiang

Overview 

Putuo Economic Development Zone is located in Putuo District, at the 

northeast end of Zhoushan Island. The total area is 8 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing the sea in the north, it has favorable natural and ecological conditions. 

Putuo Marine Eco-Innovation Valley consists of two parts: Xiaohuifan Industrial Zone and Squid Market, with a total planned land area of about 1,600 mu.

Marine biopharmaceuticals (marine biological peptides), marine high-end equipment manufacturing, marine new materials and other emerging high-tech industries.

＞Daishan Economic Development Zone (New Materials Industrial Park)

Overview 

Located in the center of Daishan Economic Development Zone, the planned area is about 5,200 mu (2,550mu of Category Ⅲ land). Projects that have settled down include Haihong New Materials, Ruicheng Petrochemical, Longpu Technology, etc.

New petrochemical materials, warehousing and logistics, environmental protection and pollution control, producer services and chemical machinery manufacturing, etc.

＞Golden Beach Town on Shengsi Islands

Overview 

Located in the middle of Shengsi island, the total area is 4.1 square kilometers. There are two attractions, namely Jihu Beach and Nanchangtu Beach. In 2020, the number of domestic and foreign tourists reached 1.86 million. It is positioned as “two zones and two towns”, namely, International Island Tourism Conference (Exhibition) Town, Marine Sports Town, China Island Tourism Demonstration Zone, and Beauty Economy Innovation and Development Demonstration Zone.

Cultural, tourism and sports industries such as leisure life, culture and education, commerce and entertainment, tourism and vacation, sports challenges, etc.

＞Jintang North Characteristic Materials Base 

Overview 

Located in the north reclamation area of Jintang, the planned area is 7.13 square kilometers (about 10,700 mu). It is divided into two parts. The east part is 3.59 square kilometers and the west part is 3.54 square kilometers. The coastline is nearly 10,000 meters long and the quayside water depth is about 20 meters.

＞Liuheng Clean Energy Materials Park

Overview 

Located in the southwest of Liuheng Island, the planned area is 41 square kilometers. Projects that have settled down include Sinopec LNG Terminal, Zhejiang Energy LNG Terminal and Guodian Offshore Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Base, etc.

New materials processing, LNG comprehensive utilization, hydrogen energy utilization, new energy comprehensive utilization, large port equipment manufacturing and marine biopharmaceuticals, etc.
