Zhejiang Kaihua Economic Development Zone was established in November 2020, and its predecessor was a provincial industrial park. It initially planned a land area of 13.08 square kilometers, with a characteristic industrial pattern of “one area and two areas” with a smart health industrial park and a new material and new equipment industrial park. In June this year, it was opened to the navigation town of Huabu Town. , Yangcun Industrial Park Phase III, Chaoyang Health City and Huakang Pharmaceutical contiguous areas are integrated, adding a total planned area of 12.23 square kilometers, totaling 25.31 square kilometers.

Zhejiang Kaihua Economic Development Zone mainly develops major health, electronic information, new energy, new materials, light industrial machinery and other industries led by the digital economy. In 2020, there were 180 normal production enterprises, of which 53 are regulated enterprises.
