On the morning of February 2, a groundbreaking ceremony for the China Pavilion in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan was held at Yumeshima, an artificial island in Osaka Bay, where the expo site is located. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Wu Jianghao, Chinese Ambassador to Japan, Yoshimura Hirofumi, Governor of Osaka Prefecture, Hiroyuki Ishige, Secretary General of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, attended and addressed the ceremony. Together, Chinese and Japanese guests ceremonially turned the dirt at the groundbreaking ceremony. The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The China Pavilion is the first large-scale international self-built pavilion to break ground and also one of the largest foreign self-built pavilions at the expo, covering an area of about 3,500 square meters. Mr. Chen Jianzhong, Chairman of CCPIT Zhejiang and CCOIC Zhejiang, attended the ceremony, and had a discussion with attendees. Zhejiang is the cradle of “Two Mountains Theory”, which is in harmony with the theme of “Building a Community of Life for Man and Nature—a Future Society of Green Development” in China Pavilion. CCPIT Zhejiang will make full preparation for the Zhejiang Week Events in Expo 2025 to demonstrate our beautiful scenery and dynamic economy to the world. |
